My first time eating this since I'm around the area. The beef is super tender and soup is very tasty. Noodles is perfect with the minced beef and chilli sauce blends well. U gave it 4 star since the ambience is rather and not so clean.
MoreDelicious and inexpensive. I came here twice in 2 days. They serves combos (noodles + soups with meat balls or shredded), the small size is more than enough to make your belly happier. Only 9MYR!! Very recommendable especially if you’re in the area.
MoreSoup is the best, meat was great. A bit crowded and waitress is very straightforward, though very family like, as in a big Chinese one))) don't expect service or courtesy, they have tons of people and barely manage to serve. Extra popular among locals, great fast food family type of place.
MoreAs a tourist I only come to this place once. There are 2 point which rating contradicting each other. Taste is 5/5 no doubt. The noodle really smooth and soft, the minced meat is the best, the soup are also excellent. But the service 1/5, you cant have more than 20 second to choose the menu, or you'll get scold by the owner, the old auntie. The attitude is applied to all customer, even to the local who regularly come. So the good point is everybody got the same treatment, that means you dont have to take it personally, on the other hand if you cant handle bad service, maybe this place is not for you, cause bad mood cause bad eating experience
More"I do not owe you money, nor I threatened you, why are you so rude?" That's my thought when the owner whom was taking my orders, in a very rude way. That aside, I thought the food is gastronomic, but it wasn't. Meat and sorts were rather strong in taste leaving the soup practically tasteless. Sorry, but you gotta change your attitude. Being reviewed as good food doesn't mean you need/can be to be rude to customers.
MoreA very simple food place, not fancy but food is super good. Perfect for those travelling for taste.
MoreFinally found local Chinese foods that actually good and affordable, just need to be patience for line up and they close early at 7 pm.
MoreEasily the best beef noodle around, worth the effort and money. But be prepared to que up and share tables with other patrons. Please do not take your sweet time to decide your order, because it can get pretty busy. Order the simplest menu, enjoy the meal and move on. Its not a place to hang out, its a place to enjoy good beef noodles!
Moremust visit this place if you like beef mee. it was delicious, authentic, inexpensive. the beef noodle soup was one the best taste experiences i had in KL.
MoreFigure out what you want to order before you are seated. It’s no frills no nonsense service here, so try to be as efficient when you are ordering your noodles! I’d always go for the hor fun (kway teow) dry with fresh beef slices. And the consistency of this place is 10/10. Always crowded no matter what time of day you arrive says a lot for the quality of the food you will be savouring here. Not a big fan of the meatballs and the place is quite squeeze and dingy at times. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Beef.
MoreI come here every weekend. Superb Nice Beef Noodle in China town. Affordable price RM9/bowl.I personally like the dry kuayteow. Their soup is way better than the others beef noodle restaurants around here.
MoreAwesome little place with great and affordable noodle. Has three different types of noodles!
MoreOMG! Absolutely delicious beef noodles. The last time I had such fantastic noodles and perfectly slow cooked beef was at my all time favourite and amazing Italian restaurant in London called Padella. I will be back here for sure. This time I ordered the dry mixed beef noodles with Hor Fun. It comes with a soup side filled with mixed beef meat including slices and beef balls. All delicious. The main bowl however was to die for. Contrary to some of the opinions I read, I was perfectly fine treated. Good service, fast, efficient. The place itself hasn’t been renovated in decades it seems, which just adds to the vibe of the place. I had to queue some 12minutes to get to a table. So worth it. My portion was too large (well I ordered the big one) for an amazing 11 Malaysian Ringgit.
MoreLovely place for beef noodles in KL - you have options of dry or soup noodles with options of sliced beef, beef balls, minced beef or mix and choices of noodles - beehoon, mee or horfun. The soup is flavorful, the beef are very tender and goes very well with the chili sauce provided.Queue can be long if you are there late like what happened to us but the line does move rather quickly. The restaurant is very basic and you might have to share table. Order is taken at the table and food does come fast.RM9 for a small bowl or RM11 for a large bowl.
MoreBeef noodle. Soup ichiban..... Worth eating..... Fairly service from waitress (the only old lady to place order for customers)
MoreDelicious Beef Noodle. One of the best.
A real gem of authentic local cuisine. Love this place. Whether it's dry or soup, it's nice and wonderful. Kuey Teoh noodle was worth trying. The soup with fresh beef was rich and tasty. Recommended.
MoreDecent price and tasty beef slice noodles. Place is very dinghy and not very clean. The beef ball had a certain smell which didn’t sit too well with me. Beef mince noodle was yummy
MoreIn spite of the bad-temper staff at the peak time, the beef noodle is the best I ever had in my life. Please bear with the staff, even my Turkish friends felt offended with their attitude. However, they are actually good-hearted. Last time I forgot my glasses, they kept it for me till my return. Love the supreme outstanding beef noodle in China town.
MoreVery delicious noodles. The noodles are well cooked. The beef also very soft. I like it very much. The price also very reasonable. What a very comfy place to eat noodles soup with your friends or family. The service is not bad, not too slow and not too fast, average. But i think the staffs need to be more friendly with the customer. Worth to try if you want to eat noodles soup.
MoreSomehow it's getting increasingly difficult to find good mama shops now so this is like a shining becon in the dark sky of food hunting. Very basic infrastructure with stools and an aircon which is not enough to manage cooling the crowd of people inside. But the minute you start on that beef noodle soup you forget everything. It's amazing how they are able to infuse so much flavour into just the soup itself. The beef also is thinly sliced and just melts in your mouth. The beef balls are also super juicy and soft. This is a must try for noodle soup lovers.
MoreVery good noodles but do you have social media pages? Please let me know
Yummy noodles and meat. The soup I have to say is outstanding! Not overly salty and a beefy taste.
MoreVery very very recommend this beef noodle restaurant! Price is very affordable and very very tasty!!!! Our family ordered 8 beef noodles and only $19.5 USD! Better order beef instead meat balls.
MoreVery nice beef noodle soup. their uniquely yummy miced beef in the soup is an added specialty. They were generous with the potions and everything was fresh and succinctly cooked.
MoreThe minced beef is good. The meatball is good. But do expect to queue during lunch hour in the weekend. But the queue is pretty fast anyway. We queue for around 10minutes to get inside. For me I personally think that the price is slightly expensive maybe due to there are a lot of tourists coming over. Anyway, worth giving it a try. But I would not say this is the best beef noodle I have eaten. There are plenty better places to go.
MoreThe small outlet, low on decor, but high on yumminess, serves the best beef noodle. You get beef in a boiled form, mashed form, fried form and in a powdered form. Noodles is also available in many shapes and sizes. At rock-bottom price, the restaurant is a great choice while in KL.
MoreOnce is enough for this pretentious bowl of beef noodles. The key ingredient, soup, is made from MSG stock appealing to Maggi mee generation. The black soya sauce mince is hardly recognisable as meat, some form of sloppy flour mix, maybe the leftovers from beef ball making. Don't waste your lunchtime, just cross the street to Lai Foong where the daily beef broth has been nurtured over a slow flame for a day and is served with beef parts in their juices over a bowl of noodles. The only consolation here is - its manned by 3rd generation grumpy locals whereas Soong Kee's is run by obliging Myanmar workers. Both are equally clueless about cooking proper beef soup noodles. At least your taste won't be shortchanged at Malaysia's best beef noodles at Lai Foong.
MoreBeen here since 90s and the taste has always been consistent. One of the best beef noodles around town. Certainly delicious!
MoreOne of the nicest Beef Noodles I ever tried in KL.I refer the Dry than the Soup one. Cause you can taste the full of their secret sauce in noodles, which is soup one can not give you that feeling.Beef is soft enough in the sweet broth came from cow bones. The must-eat-dish when you are in town.Go as early as time they open (around 11:30am) to avoid the super long queue later.
MoreDelicious! We walked passed this place a few times, each time there was a queue so we decided to join it not knowing what to expect. We were not disappointed. Bellies satisfied.
MoreOne tip in eating in a hawker stalls in Singapore and Malaysia. If the name of the stall is long. Trust me its gooood. I love thisss. Always coming back here when I have a chance.
MoreSuperb... delicious beef noodles. Fast service and clean. No long waiting! Mince beef is so delicious... mix beef soup is deliciously tasty. No MSG.
MoreThe place where we go if we want to have noodles and soup for lunch. The only drawback for me is that the place is small and a lot of people eat here so if you go here at around 1 pm, you will wait for a while before you can eat.
MoreUnique beef noodles in KL! It's different from the beef noodles you get from other south east asian countries. There's only dry and soup version ( both with beef sauce- something like asian beef chili) many ordered the dry and i got that too! Seatings are limited and sometimes you may need to share tables with others( which is totally fine and it's a local culture) fast food service. Bowl of Dry noodles drizzle with beef sauce comes with bowl of soup with thin sliced beef + beef balls + beef organs ( may changed to just slice beef if you don't take those, tell the staff in advance) portion wise was sufficient! Most importantly, price is affordable at RM9 at a combo ( you can go large, just add a few more bucks) enjoy your beef noodles!
MoreBest beef noodles in Chinatown. Pork-free and full of flavour!
I've been eating in this shop for more than 10 years and the quality has never fails me. Delicious and unique beef noodle that you can't find it anywhere else. I gave 5 star for the food but not their service. The people who takes order always grumpy and impatient and never change after a decade long.
MoreThere's plenty of good beef noodles around Chinatown, but this one is great. Sometimes there is a line in the weekend, but it moves relatively quickly and you'd be seated in no time. It is a boiler inside, and it does get quite warm, but for the quality of the noodles, it's worth it. The meatballs here are something special, but that broth is something else.
MoreVery poor service and rude staff/owner. Not worth trying. There are many other places with nice beef noodles
MoreGood value for money of a small beef kue teow noodle at a good ventilation restaurant.
MoreSuper delicious! Personally, the noodles in soup is tastier as it's richer and more flavourful when everything is mixed together.
MoreVery popular beef noodles restaurant. It's air-conditioned so it's good even on a hot day. Be prepared to share tables if you're in a small group. You can choose 3 types of noodles - yellow noodles (spaghetti), thin beehoon (angel hair) and horfun (linguini) - of course, Chinese style. Not Italian :-)Then you can have it in dry (like mine) or soup. You can have just beef balls or mixed of beef balls, brisket, etc.Of course the size - small or large portions. They serve drinks such as coke, Chinese teas and herbal tea.
MoreIf you enjoy sitting at a crowded place, and are looking for tasty beef noodles with amazing soup, this is definitely the place that you should try. Compared to those high class restaurants with air conditioning and crazily expensive prices, this little shop in the centre of KL gives you a completely different experience. The food is served quickly after making the order, and the price is so reasonable. I would even say that it is cheaper than it should be, provided that the food tastes so great.
MoreA very popular and famous beef noodle shop. Same old spot for many many years. The beef and beef balls are nice and delicious..... noodle also nice. This stall only sell this, beef noodle, and nothing else. In the afternoon, will be pack with people and very hot inside. So you only here because of the beef noodle.
MoreReally good tasting food, we tried abit of everything and went for seconds it was that good! The owner can come across as rushy but don't take it personally she means well 👍 defo come and try it !! My fave was the dry beef hor fun (see first pic), the soup was also delicious ~
MoreI would have given it a 5 Stars if not for the moderate amount of MSG and pretty uncomfortable eating environment. Very popular among locals and tourists, place is always pack. The beef noodle with the clear broth is a Must eat if you are near Chinatown. It is tasty and delicious, beef balls is springy, beef slices and innards are tender and nice. Even the chilly sauce is full of punch. The mince beef is done just right. Yum! Will be back.
MoreUnexpectedly good. Tastes slightly better than Soong Kee I would say. The beef was so fresh you can hear the cows moo.
MoreOne of the best beef noodles I'd ever had.Theres 2 option dried and soup. Then there's 3 type of beef, just meat, meat balls and mixed with innards. I love the dried version cause they will give u a separate soup.
MoreYummy & yummy.Simply delicious beef noodles. Came in at about 5pm just nice there is no need Q up for a sit. There are barely 8 tables in such a tiny vintage shop (without air-con) and imagine yourself when it comes to lunch hour. I love his Hakka style noodles served with super taste good mince beef. His beef ball is so great that I don't need a second thought to order an extra 10 pieces beef balls. Will come back again for his beef noodles soup.
MoreSoup base is plain and clear. Some might say bland but that's way better than full of MSG and condiments. This stall probably won't be around much longer, it's practically a relic from earlier days of Petaling Street area. Very little seating so just try your luck
